Your Kenya Safari Journey

Summary Itinerary

Welcome to Kenya!

Day 1–2 | Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be greeted with VIP airport pickup and transferred to the Tamarind Tree Hotel. During your stay, explore the scenic Kiambethu Tea Farm, visit the Fairview Coffee Farm, and enjoy an afternoon visit to the Giraffe Centre where you can meet endangered Rothschild giraffes up close.

Maasai Mara Conservancy Experience | Sept 26–28

Travel to the legendary Maasai Mara and stay within the Ol Chorro Conservancy at a private lodge restored by the daughter of a Maasai chief. During your stay, you will walk alongside endangered white rhinos with Maasai women rangers, learn about innovative conservation projects, and connect with the local Maasai community--with community members and longtime project partners who will welcome you as family. In the evening, gather around the fire for storytelling, traditional songs, and a glimpse into Maasai culture and daily life.

Luxury Safari in the Mara | Sept 28–Oct 1

Continue your safari adventure with a stay at Mara Ngenche Safari Camp, a luxury camp located along the Mara River. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives as you search for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife across the vast savannah. Evenings are spent relaxing at camp surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Elephant Conservation at Umani Springs | Oct 2–4

Journey to Kibwezi Forest where you will stay at Umani Springs, a private lodge operated by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Spend time observing orphaned elephants during their mud baths and daily routines while learning how the trust rehabilitates and reintroduces them back into the wild. Amboseli & Giant Tusker Elephants | Oct 4–6

Travel to Amboseli National Park, famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its population of legendary giant tusker elephants. Enjoy game drives across the park and visit Team Lioness, Africa’s first all-female anti-poaching ranger unit working to protect wildlife and support local communities. This team now works with Uplift Travel as ambassadors in bringing dignity (through menstrual supplies and more) to Maasai women and girls.
